# Quick Start Guide

> Set up your first campaign and get real AI visibility insights in under 10 minutes.

## Step-by-Step

  <Step title="Create your first campaign">
    From the dashboard, click **New Campaign**.

    Give your campaign a clear name that describes what you're monitoring. Good examples:

    * "Brand Monitoring - US Market"
    * "SEO Services - Q1 2026"
    * "Product Launch - AI Tools"

    Select your industry category and preferred language.

  <Step title="Add your brand">
    Enter your **brand name** exactly as you want it detected in AI responses.

    * **Primary name**: Your main brand identifier (e.g., "Acme Digital")
    * **Domain**: Your website URL (e.g., `acmedigital.com`)
    * **Variations** (optional): Alternative spellings or abbreviations (e.g., "ACME", "Acme Digital Agency")

      Add variations if your brand is commonly spelled multiple ways. This improves detection accuracy across AI platforms.

  <Step title="Add keywords to track">
    Keywords are the questions and topics FAII will monitor across AI platforms and search engines.

    **Think like a customer asking an AI for recommendations**, not like an SEO targeting search terms.

    Add at least **5 keywords** to get meaningful insights. You can add more later.

      You can import keywords in bulk via CSV upload. Go to Campaign Settings > Keywords > Import.

  <Step title="Add competitors">
    Adding competitors lets you see how your visibility compares. For each competitor, enter:

    * **Competitor name**: How they're referred to in AI responses
    * **Domain**: Their website URL

    We recommend tracking **3-5 competitors** to start. You can always add more later.

    <Tip>
      Not sure who to track? After your first run, FAII will auto-discover competitors mentioned alongside your brand in AI responses.
    </Tip>

  <Step title="Run your first session">
    Click **Run Now** to start your first monitoring session. Here's what happens:

    1. **SERP Intelligence** checks your Google rankings (2-5 min)
    2. **Chat Intelligence** queries all AI platforms with your keywords (5-15 min)
    3. **Analysis engine** processes mentions, sentiment, and positions (1-2 min)
    4. **Dashboard updates** with your results

    You'll receive a notification when results are ready.

  <Step title="View your AI Authority Rank">
    Once your session completes, head to the **Dashboard** to see your **AI Authority Rank** - a single score from 0 to 100 that tells you how visible your brand is across AI platforms.

    | 80-100 | Excellent - AI systems actively recommend you |
    |  60-79 | Good - Solid presence with room to grow       |
    |  40-59 | Average - Visible but not standing out        |
    |  20-39 | Below Average - Missing opportunities         |
    |  0-19  | Poor - Barely visible to AI systems           |

## Tips

* **Run regularly**: Set up automated monitoring (daily, weekly, or monthly) to track trends over time
* **More keywords = better insights**: Start with 5, aim for 25+ as you learn what matters
* **Check all platforms**: Your brand might be strong on ChatGPT but invisible on Perplexity - the dashboard shows you the full picture
* **Don't panic about low scores**: Your first run is a baseline. Track improvement over time.
