# Using the SERP Dashboard

> Navigate the SERP Intelligence dashboard - keyword summaries, position timelines, feature matrices, and AI Overview coverage.

## Dashboard Sections

### Summary Cards (Top)

Quick stats showing:

* **Total keywords tracked** - Your campaign's keyword count
* **In Top 3** - Keywords ranking positions 1-3
* **In Top 10** - Keywords on page 1
* **Average position** - Mean across all ranked keywords
* **AI Overview citations** - Keywords where you're cited

### Position Timeline (Main Chart)

A visual timeline showing:

* Average position over time (line chart)
* Individual keyword positions (click to expand)
* Session markers (vertical lines for each monitoring run)
* Trend direction (improving/declining/stable)

### SERP Features Matrix

A grid showing which features appear per keyword and who owns them:

Color coding: Green = You, Red = Competitor, Gray = Exists but unclaimed.

### AI Overview Coverage

A dedicated section showing:

* % of keywords with AI Overviews
* Your citation rate within those overviews
* Competitor citation rates
* Trend over time

### Keyword Performance Table

Sortable, filterable table with every keyword:

| Keyword     | The tracked term                |
| Position    | Current ranking                 |
| Change      | Movement since last session     |
| Best        | All-time best position          |
| Volume      | Estimated monthly searches      |
| Features    | Icons for present SERP features |

## Filtering and Sorting

### Filters available

* **Time range** - Last 7/30/90 days or custom
* **Device** - Desktop, Mobile, or Both
* **Position range** - Top 3, Top 10, Page 2+, Not ranked
* **Features** - Only keywords with specific features
* **Movement** - Only improved, only declined, or stable
* **AI Overview** - Only keywords with/without overviews

### Sorting options

Click any column header to sort:

* Position (best to worst or vice versa)
* Change (biggest movers first)
* Volume (highest traffic potential first)
* Keyword (alphabetical)

## Using the Dashboard Effectively

### Daily check (2 minutes)

* Glance at summary cards for overall health
* Check for any big position changes (alerts section)
* Note any new AI Overview citations

### Weekly review (10 minutes)

* Review position timeline trends
* Check SERP features matrix for new wins/losses
* Compare competitor positions
* Identify keywords moving toward top 10

### Monthly analysis (30 minutes)

* Full trend analysis across all sessions
* Identify keywords to add or remove
* Assess content strategy effectiveness
* Plan next month's content priorities
